The Ultimate Valentine’s Day Treat: Charcuterie Cups

Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating love, and what better way to say “I love you” that than with a delicious charcuterie snack?

This year, instead of a traditional box of chocolates, I decided to try out something a little more unique—Valentine’s Day Charcuterie Cups! And while they were SO cute and delicious….they were also SO easy to make.

I’ve mapped out the steps below so you can make them for your Galentines and loved ones – let’s dive in!

Equipment

  • 10 Valentines Day Cups
  • 30 Heart-Shaped Skewers
  • 10 Treat Bags
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting Board

Ingredients

  • 1 Block Cheddar Sliced into 10 cubes
  • 10 Pieces Mini Brie
  • 30 Pieces Italian Dry Salami 3 pieces per skewer
  • 1 Box Crackers
  • 1 Bag Grapes
  • 1 Pack Raspberries
  • 1 Pack Strawberries
  • 1 Pack Chocolate Covered Raisins
  • 1 Pack Thyme

Instructions

  • Grab 10 heart-shaped skewers and set them to the side. Slide 1 piece of mini brie onto each of the 10 skewers.
  • Cube up your block of cheddar into at least 10 pieces. Slide 1 cube of cheddar onto each of the 10 cheese skewers created in step 1, so they're secured right under the mini brie. Place your cheese skewers in the fridge.
  • Grab 10 more heart-shaped skewers and set them to the side. Fold a piece of salami in half, and then fold it in half again. Repeat this process two more times, and then stack all three pieces of salami on top of each other so they're all in the same direction. Take 1 heart-shaped skewer and pierce the salami stack through the center, so all 3 pieces of salami are perfectly secured on the skewer. Repeat this process until all 10 heart-shaped skewers are filled with salami. Place in the fridge.
  • Grab 10 more heart-shaped skewers and set them to the side. Slide 1 strawberry, 1 grape and 1 raspberry onto your skewer. Then repeat this process until all 10 skewers each have 1 strawberry, 1 grape and 1 raspberry.
  • Now it's time to start assembling your cups. Line up all 10 cups in a row. Fill about 1/3 of the cup with nuts or chocolate covered raisins (anything small, but heavy enough to weigh the cups down).
  • Now add your skewers. Add 1 cheese skewer, 1 meat skewer and 1 fruit skewer to each cup.
  • Slide 1 cracker into each cup. If your crackers are too long, feel free to break in half.
  • You're almost done! Your last step is to slide a sprig of thyme into each cup – voila!
